FR Pendant une fête de famille, Maya, 13 ans, surprend une conversation et apprend la maladie de son père.  A côté de l’ambiance festive, Maya encaisse le choc toute seule. Dans une salle de fête, le temps d’une soirée, Maya va passer brutalement le cap de la fin de l’enfance, découvrant la fragilité des adultes et sa solitude. Comment demander du réconfort lorsqu’on n’ose pas parler ?

EN During a family gathering, 13-year-old Maya overhears a conversation and learns of her father's illness. Aside from the festive atmosphere, Maya bears the shock alone. In the hall, over the course of one evening, Maya will abruptly cross the threshold of the end of childhood, discovering the fragility of adults and her own loneliness. How can she ask for comfort when she doesn't dare speak?
